Early Years Lead Practitioner
Early Years Lead Practitioners work in a wide range of settings, including nurseries, pre-schools, schools, hospitals, social care and local authority services. They lead high-quality, play-based learning, champion inclusive practice, and support the learning and development of children from birth to eight.

Access to a lead practitioner role; Level 2 English & maths; DBS check
24 months (plus assessment)
The Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 Apprenticeship is assessed through workplace observations, professional discussions and the completion of a portfolio of evidence.
Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5
Progress to nursery management or Early Years Teacher status.
